Hotel Royal - Benidorm

The 4 star rated Hotel Royal is situated around 450 metres from the Playa Levante beach, in the popular resort of Benidorm on the south coast of Spain.

The hotel is approximately 65km east of the Alicante International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1969 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2008, the modern Hotel Royal has a total of 94 guest rooms, including 80 standard and superior twin rooms, 12 singles and a further 2 Junior and Royal Suites, all of which are built over 9 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and magnifying mirror, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, mini bar, iron and ironing board, high speed WiFi internet access, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, 2 guest rooms at the Hotel Royal have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults with spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Royal also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the Health and Fitness Centre at the nearby Hotel Victoria, which features a cardiovascular gymnasium with steam room, sauna and tanning beds, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and massage treatments.

The Hotel Royal also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment, with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
