Hotel Regente - Benidorm

Part of the Med Playa Group of hotels, the 3 star rated Hotel Regente is situated around 600 metres from the Playa Levante beach, in the popular resort of Benidorm on the south coast of Spain.

The hotel is approximately 65km east of the Alicante International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1970 and extensively refurbished in the winter of 2004, the modern Hotel Regente has a total of 195 guest rooms, including 187 standard twin rooms and a further 8 Premium rooms, which are built over 9 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, overlooking a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and cosmetic mirror, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, Premium rooms at the Hotel Regente also have a bathroom with hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, and all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, and a separate pool for children, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Regente also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring petanque, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
