Part of the prestigious Sol Melia Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Melia Benidorm is located around 500 meters from the Playa Levante beach, in the Rincon de Loix district of the popular resort of Benidorm on the south coast of Spain.

The hotel is approximately 65km east of the Alicante International airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 2001 the modern Hotel Melia Benidorm has a total of 526 guest rooms, including 445 standard twin rooms, 39 superior twin rooms, 30 deluxe rooms, 4 Junior Suites and 2 Suites with round bathtubs and power showers, all of which are distributed between two 23 storey towers, and set amidst almost 9,500m2 of Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a 32" plasma screen satellite television, direct dial telephone, mini bar, high speed WiFi internet access, a safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, 4 guest rooms at the Hotel Melia Benidorm have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 2 large lagoon-style swimming pools with waterfalls, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes children's playground and mini club, along with both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Melia Benidorm also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features bi-thermal showers, essence and contrast showers, a hydrotherapy bathtub for couples, a Turkish bath, along with an Aqua-massage centre, a fully equipped cardiovascular gymnasium with saunas and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a variety of other massage treatments.

The Hotel Melia Benidorm also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
