Hotel Lido - Benidorm

Part of the Medsur Group of hotels, the 3 star rated Hotel Lido is situated on the beach of Playa Levante, in the popular resort of Benidorm on the south coast of Spain.

The hotel is approximately 65km east of the Alicante international airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1971 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2005, the modern Hotel Lido has a total of 64 twin guest rooms, which are built over 6 floors and set amidst Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hair dryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea.

In addition to the above features, all rooms are also provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's pool, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Hotel Lido also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
