The hotel is approximately 65km east of the Alicante International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Built in 1991 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2008, the modern Hotel Les Dunes Comodoro has a total of 92 guest rooms, including 88 Junior Suites comprising of one bedroom with twin beds and a living room with sofa bed, and a further 4 twin guest rooms, all of which are built over 23 floors overlooking a large central pool area. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and magnifying mirror, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, mini bar and safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace. many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and lounge bar. For business guests, the Hotel Dunes Comodoro also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, with the capacity to seat a maximum of 80 people, which is fully equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids including both overhead and slide projectors. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
