The hotel is approximately 65km east of the Alicante international airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Built in 1969 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2015, the modern Hotel Alone has a total of 112 twin guest rooms, which are built over 8 floors and set amidst Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and cosmetic mirror, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars. For business guests, the Hotel Alone also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is fully equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids including both overhead and slide projectors. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool and Jacuzzi for adults, with integrated children's pool, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers, parasols and hammocks. The Hotel Alone also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
