The 3 star rated Hotel Tanit is situated just 30 metres from the Playa Poniente beach, in the popular resort of Benidorm on the south coast of Spain. The hotel is approximately 65km east of the Alicante International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Built in 1968 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2002, the modern Hotel Tanit has a total of 83 guest rooms, including 65 standard twin rooms and a further 18 singles, which are built over 7 floors. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and magnifying mirror, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views. In addition to the above features, all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.
