The 4 star rated Sandos Monaco Beach Hotel & Spa is situated around 450 metres from the Playa Levante beach, in popular resort of Benidorm on the south coast of Spain.

The hotel is approximately 65km east of the Alicante International airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1972 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2009, the Sandos Monaco Beach Hotel & Spa has a total of 199 guest rooms, offering a choice of either standard twin rooms, superior rooms and a further selection of Junior Suites, all of which are built over 16 floors, and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and a sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and magnifying mirror, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, mini bar and safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a number of rooms at the Sandos Monaco Beach Hotel & Spa have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals with high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with spacious gardens and sun terraces which are furnished with sun loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Sandos Monaco Beach Hotel & Spa also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and massage treatments.

The Sandos Monaco Beach Hotel & Spa also also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring petanque, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
