Hotel Corona del Mar - Benidorm

Part of the Hoteles R H Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Corona del Mar is situated around 80 metres from the Playa Poniente beach, in the popular resort of Benidorm on the south coast of Spain.

The hotel is approximately 65km east of the Alicante international airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1962 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1998, the modern Hotel Corona del Mar has a total of 126 twin guest rooms, which are built over 7 floors and set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, mini bar, safety deposit available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room and reading room with library, public internet terminals with complimentary high speed WiFi access available throughout the hotel, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Corona del Mar also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is fully equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids including high speed WiFi internet access.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with Jacuzzi for adults, along with a further children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's play area, along with both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Corona del Mar also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Health and Beauty Centre, which features a smaller indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, Jacuzzi and cardiovascular gymnasium, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and massage treatments.

The Hotel Corona del Mar also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring petanque, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

The Hotel Corona del Mar has been awarded many different quality distinctions such as: The Quality "Q" Mark, "EMAS for Environmental Management", "ISO 14001 for Environmental Management" and "Excellence in Kitchen Hygiene".
