The hotel is approximately 65km east of the Alicante International airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Built in 1972 and extensively refurbished in the winter of 2002, the modern Hotel Centro Playa has a total of 54 guest rooms, including 50 standard twin rooms and a further 4 singles, which are built over 7 floors. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and cosmetic mirror, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views over the resort. In addition to the above features, all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week. Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars. Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large rooftop swimming pool for adults, offering breath taking views of the bay, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
