Hotel Carlos I - Benidorm

The 4 star Hotel Carlos I is situated around 600 metres from the Playa Poniente beach, in the popular resort of Benidorm on the south coast of Spain.

The hotel is approximately 65km east of the Alicante International airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1972 and extensively refurbished in the winter of 2017, the modern Hotel Carlos I has a total of 197 guest rooms, including 171 twin rooms and a further 26 singles, which are built over 7 floors and set amidst Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower and cosmetic mirror, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Carlos I also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' own Fitness Centre, which features a fully equipped cardiovascular gymnasium with sauna and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and massage treatments.

Hotel Carlos I also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
