Hotel Avenida - Benidorm

The 4 star Hotel Avenida is situated around 75 metres from the Playa Levante beach, in the popular resort of Benidorm on the south coast of Spain.

The hotel is approximately 65km east of the Alicante International airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1959 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2016, the modern Hotel Avenida has a total of 156 guest rooms, including 141 standard twin rooms and a further 15 singles, which are built over 6 floors.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season and come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, hairdryer and cosmetic mirror, along with a satellite television, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box and minibar available for rental, complimentary high speed WiFi internet access, and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the sea.

In addition to the above features, all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a games room, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, public internet terminals with complimentary high speed WiFi access available in selected areas, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large rooftop freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Other leisure facilities includes a cardiovascular gymnasium with Jacuzzi and sauna, along with both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Avenida also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring petanque, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco, which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

In recognition of high standards of customer care and management systems, the Hotel Avenida has been awarded the "Q" for Kitchen Hygiene Excellence and the "Q" Environmental Management quality seals that the hotel has earned and renew every year.
